Edward Elgar wrote the songs in his "The Wand of Youth - Music to a Child's Play" for a play he and his siblings put on as children. About 40 years later he orchestrated the music and placed it into two suites. This is "Moths and Butterflies" from the second suite. Although the musical material is youthful, it is distinctly "Elgar" and works VERY well for woodwinds. This sheet music comes with score and parts and was arranged by John Gibson for three saxophones (all in the same key).
