The String Quartet K 421 was a part of what is known as the "Haydn Quartets". Mozart dedicated them to Joseph Haydn who heard them played in 1785. It was at this time that Haydn declared that Mozart was, "...the greatest composer known to me either in person or by name." This setting for clarinet quartet (2 Bb sopranos, alto, and bass) was done by Marten King. This sheet music includes score and parts.
